Issa Sannia (Isabella Akuffo)

From the time she was a little girl, Issa Sannia loved weaving magical worlds from her 

imagination. She spent hours sketching characters, coloring dresses, and dreaming up 

adventures filled with courage, friendship, and wonder. Books were her greatest treasures—

Fairy tales, folk stories, poems, and comics all fueled her desire to create stories of her 

own.

As she grew older, her passion for storytelling only deepened. She began writing on her own 

tales and teaching herself to illustrate the characters she had once only dreamed about. 

Her lifelong dream has been to become both an author and illustrator, someone who creates 

stories that make children smile, dream, and believe in themselves.

Today, Issa writes and illustrates stories for children, youth, and families, crafting colorful 

worlds filled with hope, bravery, and friendship. She shares her imagination with readers 

across the globe, hoping each page inspires another dreamer to pick up a pencil and begin 

their own adventure.
